Great overnight camp by a river with lot of geese and ducks. Set off in calm weather with the possibility of more wind. The tide helped us across the big bay then turned at the start of the narrows, making further progress very slow.
We passed two clusters of small houses and were met by the Navy – by name! A good day’s paddle, clocking up 33 nautical miles and adding ibis to our bird-spotting list.
