Day 32, Day 7 from Punta Arenas – Tuesday 21 February.

8.44am: We are starting out later as it was windy all last night. Ahead of us is a strong headwind with a 3 mile crossing, but with a 35 knott wind due tomorrow we will have a go at the crossing to look for a more sheltered camp.

3.22pm: S54.26.05 W71.51.34  We have moved a mile and a half to a camp spot that is sheltered from the wind. We enjoyed some sunshine for about 10 minutes, which transformed the place – but it is raining again now. Tucking in to yummy pancakes!
