A couple of months ago, I received an email from a journalist working for British Airways’ inflight magazine, asking for one of my favourite travel destinations where the main attraction is natural beauty or a magical outdoor experience. I was delighted to be asked to contribute alongside well known people like Ranulph Fiennes, Charley Boorman & Bill Oddie. My suggestion was kayaking in stunning Haida Gwaii (The Queen Charlotte islands) where you have bears, eagles, totem poles & giant trees for neighbours.
